i have then edited the header.php file for 900 width and 180 height.

trouble is the logo isnt sitting right.

pls can someone help me edit the code so the logo is sitting correctly.. which file do i need to edit?

2 days before there was Facebook login button now it is missing..

For my project I have to secure (HTTPS) all QPA pages that contain or send user data (registration / change profile data / login box etc.).

All non user data pages like questions should be non secure http.

I´m testing a few plugins but haven´t found the ideal setup. I whould be interested if some of you have the same issue and what kind of solution you´re using.

I would like to let users of my blog to use custom avatars. Currently it is impossible because it seems that WP-Answers is using its own rules about avatars.
If im right, avatars should go to Wp-content/uploads/avatars folder so i created one.
After choosing a file and uploading it, nothing happens.
Wavatars seems to be only possible way of displaying Avatars.

In WP-Answers' defense, I've tried other Yahoo Answers auto-post plugins that exhibit the same behavior. I was told that it's an issue with WordPress. I reported it to our host to inspect them and they said:

The issue is code related, if you comment the first 2 lines in /usr/www/virtual/****/www.*********.com/wp-content/plugins/wp-answers-pro/yahooextrafunctions.php the Warnings about sessions will go away.

However, for the rest of the Notices, it is related to using deprecated functions which should be updated. When you enable WP_DEBUG all Warnings and Notices are being displayed, which makes you believe they are errors, but the application can work fine with them, its just a suggestion what the php interpreter suggests should be changed.

It will be good if your coder can take a look at these, since all of them are wp related.

2. User Role Issues - Only the Users with Author role are able to post question. I had a touch time changing the roles of about 10,000 members to Author. This also posses a risk as members can misuse the site. Is there any work around for this?

3. Edit User Points - This site has more than 10,000 members and counting. When I go to the plugin options, the page takes too long to load or sometimes makes the browser hang. Can you please fix this in the next version.

4. Is it possible to Send Notification Emails to users when they post question or when their question is approved or unapproved.

5. How to allow the question poster to post comments on his own question.

6. Is it possible to display related questions on the single post based on the tags rather than displaying the recent questions.

I should also admit that not everything is perfect and the filter of WP-ANSWER to avoid duplicate content is not perfect, occasionally post duplicates are published on my sites and this may be penalized by google.

However I've found a plugin that may be of interest to you, the plugin is called Random Number and adds a random combination of 7 numbers in the URL of each new post published.
