I am a novice at web design and need help with my new Q & A site. I just completed the Yahoo! Answers auto posting and now my site has a direct feed from Yahoo based on my search terms.
However, I noticed on the home page that it only lists 10 recent questions. How can I set this up so that as the feeds come in, along with user generated questions, that they get added to the list on the home page based on date submitted, and accordingly, multiple pages get established automatically?
Thank you.
Clint
If you look in the widgets section, you can add more sections to your sidebar - such "Archives" that will list the questions by month. You can also add our "tags" widget, "recent posts", "recent comments" etc etc
Also in your wordpress settings, click "reading settings" and you can add more than 10 questions to your homepage.
Does that cover what you wanted ?
Thank you, that was helpful. I see that I can change the post per page, and I currently have the archive enabled (which says there are 101 posts in September), however, how can I view all 101 posts if I wanted to? Of course, I could go into the reading section and put 200 posts, but is there a way where pages get generated once there are more than 10 posts, 20 posts, etc.. ?
Yes I see what you mean,
Install this plugin : http://moshublog.com/download/cqs_reloaded.zip
Then set the archives to "-1" that will show every post in that category for the month.
Also, install the Pagination plugin : http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-paginate/
It looks like you're new here. If you want to get involved, click one of these buttons!
